The 450 series are the first composite fins dedicated to bodysurf and body boarding. They are symmetrical and available in 3 stiffnesses. Short, they allow a very fast action but they remain powerful thanks to their composite blade. The accelerations will be frank and intense. The C5 will make you appreciate the power of a carbon fin. To prevent the fin from slipping and to keep the maximum power, the 450 Hybrid is equipped with daggerboards on the blade. This swimfin is assembled with our custom hybrid footpocket. Open at the end, it easily evacuates water and sand. Its shape is more hydrodynamic and its very light polyurethane sole will raise the foot. This angle generated by the sole combined with that of the blade will offer an excellent alignment between the blade and the leg. This limits all unnecessary efforts to perfectly stretch the foot and finning is more effective. It improves the trim in the water and therefore the hydrodynamics. Finally, it will reduce the tension on the ankle.

Use
The bodysurf and bodyboarding fin has several functions. To facilitate the movement to overcome the currents and to pass the bar, to be able to accelerate to take a maximum of waves by being the first on the take off zone and finally to help to direct itself while surfing the wave. Composite fins will make a real difference on all these points. Their superior performance will give you extra power and speed when you want it without wearing you out. Their natural rigidity will help you to steer perfectly. On long sessions, you will also appreciate their lightness. Depending on your weight and the type of waves you want to surf, you will have to choose the stiffness. The hardness gives more power but requires more effort, it is necessary for the highest waves. The softness will be adapted for the average waves and to surf for a long time. The excellent energy return of carbon will allow you to take a step forward in your progress. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE :
Your fibreglass or carbon blade can break :
- If the fin is stuck (the end of the fin is stuck, all the weight is on the blade and it cannot bend) => Do not push off with the blade on the bottom, the side of the pool or on the bottom of the water
- If you jump into the water with the blade parallel to the water.
