Riverboarding bifins for distances from 50 to 1500 meters. Flexibility will be preferred when the distance increases. For a same stiffness index, a short blade will be more rigid than a longer one. These fins are therefore only available in 3 stiffnesses. On our Riverboarding blades you'll have specific water rails that protect the blade without reducing its flexibility and hydrodynamics. C8 carbon is currently the composite that offers the best mechanical performance in our range. It allows to store and restore the energy transmitted to blade during bending in the most efficient way. You can choose a branded closed-heel footpocket or a custom-made open-heel footpocket. This one frees the rotation of the ankle in all directions and thus increases the finning's amplitude and the efficiency thanks to a more precise foot positioning on the blade. Finally, it facilitates direction changes. It takes a little time to get used to it.
The 640 Series is best suited for slalom events. More compact, they will offer you velocity and maneuverability. Due to their smaller size, these fins are only available in 3 stiffnesses. For the same hardness grade, the 640 fin is stiffer than a longer fin. To choose the right stiffness, it is also important to take into account your body size and your level of practice. This C8 carbon blade will allow the most demanding swimmers to push their limits. To choose well, use our help: 'which model and which stiffness for me?'.
